Oh what a wine! Chateau Roquefort Blanc, composed of 85% Sauv Blanc and 15% Semillon, is now my go-to seafood, or any food for that matter, wine. Right out of the gate the wine presents bright yellow fruit, lime, and orange peel. Followed by that is a surprisingly broad and expansive texture especially for a wine under $12. The aftertaste is briny and minerally, setting you up perfectly for that next bite of food.
