The 2016 Motor América is their "glu, glu" Callet from clay soils that give very fluid wines, fermented with indigenous yeasts, without any added sulfur and aged exclusively in clay and concrete. 2016 was a very dry year, and the wine changes with the vintage; this time it was 100% Callet (with some old vines that always have some other varieties--up to ten different ones), which only reached 11% alcohol. It has a bright note, high-toned, red rather than black, with some earthiness. It reminded me of a light red from Jura, with vibrant flavors and acidity and wild berry fruit. Refreshing and delicious. 91+ points. (LG)
