The grapes for Font du Loup's 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape weren't destemmed, and it shows in the wine's pretty, garrigue-scented floral aromas. Ripe cherries take over on the full-bodied, creamy-supple palate, ending on a bright, berry-like finish. This is deceptively easy to drink already, but it should evolve gracefully for up to 15 years. The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape from is a fresh, elegant expression of this cooler terroir. Strawberries, wildflowers and hints of spice all flow to a medium-bodied, silky, elegant and polished 2015 that has sweet tannin and a light, weightless texture. It's already delicious, yet will keep for over a decade give its balance. (JebDunnuck.com)
