Tasting Notes

Machine blown, lead free crystal, this glass is the new companion to the "Jamesse Prestige" glass with a more similiar look and feel. It replaces the 4.5 cl glass but, has a wider opening at the mouth, which has proven more preferable to our customers. This glass is 41 cl and is 9.2 inches tall and has a diameter of 3.5 inches. It holds 13.8 oz and can be washed by hand or by machine. This is the most exciting , and the very best thing that we have to enjoy Champagne from. Philippe Jamesse is the Sommelier at Chateau Les Crayeres in Reims, the luxury destination for the Champagne region. He's tasted more great Champagne thoughtfully than almost anyone in the world, and partnered with Reims glassware manufacturer Gerhard Lehmann to produce one of the greatest glasses ever made for Champagne. The tulip shape of this glass allows for a very pretty stream of bubbles to develop from the bottom of the glass, while the generous 410ml size allows room for the aromas to develop. Traditional flutes are too narrow at the top for one to smell the wine, and pour the wine in a very narrow stream across the tongue. Regular wine glasses make Champagne look flat. The Jamesse gets it just right! *Price is per stem.* These can ship only by the case of 6. Non-lead. Ships in case quantities only.
