Sharing a boarder with Austria, the Alto Adige is home to beautiful, fresh, grapes that we may think are more German than Italian. But this GV from the Bressanone Valley Basin is filled with bold aromatics, spice and fresh citrus fruits. The vineyards are at the highest elevation of the Basin and the wine is vinified in stainless steel keeping that fresh and focused feel to the wine. While fermenting with indigenous yeast, the wine becomes a little more earthy, spicy and aromatic.
