Laurenz V pays homage to the family lineage of wine making by paying respect to Lenz Moser III, or "Grandpa Grüner", a member of the family who is credited with almost single handedly helping Grüner Veltliner become Austria's signature white in the middle of the last century. The family has been making wine for five generations; the "V" is actually a Roman numeral. They exclusively produce Grüner Veltliner and this particular selection is based on mostly Kamptal fruit. This wine is fresh and super clean with notes of ruby red grapefruit and yellow plums. The palate has some subtle texture and is extremely easy going. Something to grab for the warmer weather right around the corner.
