This ancient estate, founded in the Middle Ages by the Knights Templar, has produced an exemplary rosé. It has lightness and poise as well as great fruitiness, acidity and a crisp, zesty texture. Perfumed and with red-currant and strawberry flavors, the wine is ready to drink. *Editor's Choice* (RV)
Light vivid orange. Clean, focused and minerally on the nose, displaying fresh citrus and pit fruit scents and a hint of candied lavender. Sappy and precise in style, offering bitter cherry and red currant flavors and a spicy jolt on the back half. Clings very nicely on the finish, leaving floral and orange pith notes behind. Drink 2018-2021. (JR)
The 2017 Rose includes a seven-grape roster of varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Rolle, Carignan and Counoise. It's pale in hue but definitely red-fruited in character, with hints of raspberry and red currant, and finishes with a squirt of lime-like acidity on the finish. (JC)
Fresh and pure, with white cherry, watermelon rind and tea notes that glide through gracefully, carried by a light mineral twinge on the finish. Shows subtle depth. Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Rolle, Carignan and Counoise. (JM)
