Historically, the Limoux region in Southwest France is accepted as the place where sparkling wines were born, but the same lustrous, sun-swept terroir can produce wonderful still wines as well, especially when the vines are found at altitude. And Domaine Begude has perfected a range of exuberant, soulful white wines without compromising their irresistible versatility or affordable value. The Terroir 11300 was fermented in stainless and large demi-muids to add a touch of oak complexity and spice. A favorite as an aperitif or joyful pairing with cheeses, it displays luscious orchard fruits with crisp, flashy flavors of white pear, golden apple and peach.
