The marketing concept of a "rosé season" has been all but vanquished by the reality that many of these crisply enticing, food-loving wines can be served and enjoyed throughout the year, "because because because" (to paraphrase Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz) "of the wonderful things it does." This lovely, bejeweled rosé may not make you wish you were back in Kansas, but, with a rapture of delicate spice, gentle sweetness and inviting red fruits it will effortlessly transport you over the rainbow to the serene, acacia-scented, seaside villages of Provence. Just click your heels twice....
