Coming from the Anderson Valley, the 2016 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley saw a small amount of stems and spent 11 months in 20% new French oak. Its medium translucent ruby color is followed by a supple, forward, moderately concentrated effort that has a pretty bouquet of sweet strawberry and cherry fruit, spice, and dried flowers. It drops off on the finish, but is rounded, supple, and beautifully textured.
The 2016 Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley) is wonderfully supple and inviting. The sweet red cherry, raspberry, spice and floral notes flesh out in this super-attractive, pliant Pinot Noir. Forward and fruity, with tons of appeal, the 2016 has so much to offer. This is a very pretty, delicate style. Drink through 2024. (AG)
