The Ambrosie has to go down as one of the best Champagne's that I have tasted this year, with fantastic hazelnut aroma and flavor from the 30% Verzenay Pinot Noir and both the richness and chalk from the 70% Avize Chardonnay. This Champagne is so good that it leaves me at a loss for words. My notes, although short, have the word "concentrated" written three times, each time bigger than the last. If you like long finishing, detailed, powerful Champagne, it is not to be missed.
