This is on the lusher side of what you expect from Graves but with classic, gravely aromas of fecund earth, dark cherries, black currants and tobacco. The rich and smooth middle plays into a somewhat raspy finish of mineral and firm but ripe tannins that beg for a quick decant and some hearty food.

This wine has a deep dark color. It is full bodied with nice fruit that has a mineral undertone. Complex and dry it is a joy to drink. I tasted the Chantegrive 2015 after it has been decanted for one hour. It will go well with hearty foods.

This has a great nose of blueberry and raspberry compote, a touch of toast and a hint of the gravelly minerals typical of a good Graves, everything is in balance and integrated. On the palate, the fruit has a nice ripe edge with very smooth tannins and a bright lift from the wonderfully assimilated acidity. It all combines for a long, lifted and pleasant finish. This is the perfect reminder of why I love Bordeaux wines so much.

A great value as well as an outstanding example of the fine 2015 vintage that will arrive all year long here at K&L. Firm, fresh fruit with hints of cherries and chocolate, serious and tasty little wine for under $20.Ralph Sands

A substantial Chantegrive that positively flaunts the strength and character of this spectacular 2015 vintage. Loads of ripe fruit and toasty oak (50% new) framed by firm tannins. A terrific value from one of the best properties in the Graves region.

An absolute steal for Bordeaux lovers. The essence of 2015 Bordeaux from the graves-Pessac regions. Plenty of spicy fruit and blackberry on the nose. Mineral undertones. Very sweet and sexy on the palate. Plenty of structure and latent tannins for the cellar, but so good now after decanting a bit. Perfect for your Steak and claret night.
    Drink from 2018 to 2028
