Les Hervelets is a nice success in 2016, opening in the glass with notes of smoked meat, wild black fruit, roast espresso and coniferous forest floor. On the palate the wine is supple and nicely concentrated, the fine but chalky tannins only asserting themselves on the back end. Drinking Window 2025 - 2035. (WK)
