Crafted by former Kim Crawford winemaker Matt large, this is a more restrained and elegant style of NZ Sauv Blanc. On the nose are subtle tropical fruit notes as well as vibrant citrus and a whisper of flint. Crisp on the palate with citrus notes and good acidity with a thread of salinity running through it. Terrific wine, even more so when you consider the price.

As classic as can be, Wither Hills Sauvignon Blanc is a great grab at this price. Tropical and grassy and couldn't be better for Spring libations. It's far too easy to finish a bottle of this stuff, mostly since the fantastic acid is incredibly refreshing to the palate, making every drink feel like your first.

This is indeed a most complex and refreshing "best buy" wine! I was particularly impressed by this Kiwi white on account of its demure nature. At first whiff it seems somewhat reticent but with a little coaxing you start to notice that this wine packs quite a varied personality. While you get some of the tell-tale grapefruit and citrus notes, it’s the herbal, Thai basil notes that really caught my attention. Like music, I prefer wines that take a little paying attention to in order to find out their many hidden charms.

With very vibrant acidity, fantastic citrus notes and a subtle chalky finish, the Wither Hills delivers a fantastic Sauvignon blanc at an outstanding price point under 15 dollars. I definitely enjoyed myself when I first got to try this, and only wish I had some oysters with me while I did so. Definitely a bottle for the Kiwi wine lover, and any fan of sauvignon blanc to check out.

A classic take on Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Guava and grapefruit dominate, while fresh gooseberry and river stone round out the back. Incredibly refreshing and, though it's easy to drink, it doesn't lack interest or complexity. Minerals and flint add complexity that exceeds this wine very modest price point. Anyone after a super delicious, Marlborough benchmark Savvy should make sure to get a bottle of this.

Wither Hills is such a tropically fruity Sauv Blanc! Big citrus notes of lime and zesty grapefruit meld with passion fruit and guava, grounded by a slight earthiness. The palate has a lovely acidic zip, making this quite a mouthwatering summer drinker. This wine is vibrant from the start right on into its chalky, minerally finish. It's so easy to drink that you'll be pouring a second glass before you know it.

A pleasant sipper, this Sauvignon Blanc has the requisite grassy and citric notes with the fun NZ jalapeno zest. But it's not about the sweet, up-front intensity that other NZ bottlings often commonly display. Rather this bottle is a more elegant rendition that shows its quality with a gently lingering persistence.
