The left overs from wine production still has plenty of alcohol in it and when heated spitis is produced. Domaine Labet ages their for more than ten years in used wine barrels. It's like one of the richest grappas you've tasted, yet also exotic and slightly oxidized like a Vin Jaune. And certainly one of the most intriguing and exciting spirits we've tasted.
