As Mr. Mabry mentioned above, Cherrier’s 2017 “Père & Fils” Sancerre is a definite crowd-pleaser. The 2017 is a bit more relaxed on the acid level, along with a richer/ rounder texture. The nose is herbaceous with undertones honeydew melon and lemon. The pallet is slightly oilier than most Sancerres but still grassy on the finish. This is a great choice that will satisfy all types of white wine drinkers.
