Mr. Black is the new cold brew coffee liqueur from one of the world's great coffee cultures - Australia. I don't know what it is about the Aussies and their beans, but they don't play around when it comes to coffee. They take high quality 100% Arabica coffee and roast it in house at their small distillery north of Sydney. Producing consistently concentrated cold brew and fine-tuning water composition, temperature and time are lifelong obsessions for both the distillery's head of coffee, Detlef Mohr, and Master Distiller, Philip Moore. The concentrated flavors of the bittersweet cold brew are melded with the soft sweetness of Australian wheat vodka to create a drink of balance and power. A hint of cane sugar is added to add depth and open the dark rich flavors of the Arabica beans. Expect ten times the coffee and half the sugar of a traditional coffee liqueur - these guys just made the Espresso Martini cool again.
