Now here's an outstanding value for the Chardonnay lover. With only a touch of 20% new French oak, and no secondary malolactic fermentation, the Thistledown prefers to focus on the acidic citrus notes that I tend to love in a Chardonnay. Not quite a Chablis, and definitely not a California chardonnay, the Thistledown is in a league of it's own, and it shows that the winemakers from down under clearly know what they're doing, and at an outstanding value.
