This award-winning handcrafted gin is made with rare African botanicals. All ingredients are hand-selected, bottles custom-made, labels hand-written and production efforts controlled by working in small batches. The idea for an African-inspired gin evolved from the traditional 'sundowner' drink typical while travelling in the South African bush. The sunset cocktail is a tradition in South Africa and the classic choice is the G&T. The addition of exotic African botanicals makes this age old tradition now truly connected to the place from which it came. But making great gin is not the only thing Elephant is about. The founders were inspired to create this gin through their adventures in Africa and they're committed to giving back to that land. For every bottle of Elephant Gin sold 15% of the profits will go directly to two conservation trusts, Big Life Foundation and Space For Elephants. Elephant has already contributed nearly half a million Euros to the cause. Elephant goes one step further and works directly the foundations to insure their contribution are being utilized as promised, scheduling regular on site visits to projects throughout Africa. Equally important as the history and philanthropy is the fact that this gin tastes absolutely delicious! Bold, rich and full of character, the hints of exotic botanicals add depth and temper the strong juniper note. The Monkey might have met its match in this majestic creature, but there's no doubt Germany Gin is on fire!
