It’s not every day you find a nearly 20-year-old St. Emilion under $20 that drinks this good. Made entirely from merlot, it is replete with aged goodness: leather, earth, cocoa, dark brambly fruit with just a little old school funk and a toasty edge from the oak. It is delicious, interesting and the perfect match for a grilled ribeye.
