Ian D'Agata writes: "In 2017, Domaine Weinbach moved to Diam corks for all their entry-level wines. Also different that year was that due to difficult weather, no Gewürz Altenbourg or Mambourg were made, and what few grapes were harvested were added to the Gewürz Cuvée Laurence blend (an absolute knockout, as always). Instead, the estate made not one but two Pinot Noirs in 2017 (both very successful, to my mind)."
