The terrific (and fairly priced) 2018 Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rose stood out among the 139 rosés I tasted blind during my late February trip to Provence. It combines hints of cantaloup with cassis in a medium-bodied, silky-textured wine that shows just a hint of leafiness on the finish. The blend is 40% Grenache, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, and 5% Rolle. (JC)
