Tamdhu uses only the best Oloroso sherry oak casks from Spain to mature their whisky. The nose is rich and delightful with notes of raisins, caramel, hints of cinnamon, and stewed citrus. Smooth and balanced on the palate with hints of dried fruits. Absolutely delicious! The finish is long, and the only word that came to mind to describe it was "pretty." Natural color with no caramel coloring added. This is such a well-made Scotch.
