Bright red. Brooding cherry, cherry pit, dark chocolate and smoked meat on the nose, with suggestions of pungent flowers and herbs. Youthfully clenched but possesses good ripe cherry and dark berry fruit, with firm tannins providing structure. Bitter chocolate and cherry tones define the long, chewy finish. Give this a few years of aging. (ST)
