The Mocali 2017 Rosso di Montalcino shows aromas of ripe cherry, black fruit and rhubarb. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and ages in botte grande for ten months. It delivers fullness and some bitterness with metallic notes on the close. Raw fruit flavors are followed by nutty flavors. (ML)
