  As its name suggests, this wine comes from vines planted around the chateau that has 13th-century origins. Structure and strong minerality balance bright apple and citrus flavors. With spice and a tangy character, the wine will certainly develop. (RV)

  This wine has a lot of creamy malolactic character even as it still has pointed acidity to spare. It’s high-toned with green herb notes of fresh cream in spring, then it finishes a little warm and sweet. Pour it with pasta tossed with English peas and cream.

  We had a brief dry spell on our shelves towards the end of the holidays and into January while we were waiting for our shipment of these wines to arrive from Chateau Vitallis but I'm pleased to report that is over. Let the wine flow! The fruit for this bottling is from vines that are directly across the street from their cellar. Maxime Dutron uses 30% neutral oak from barrels used for Les Perrieres and Vielles Vignes first, to give the wine more complexity. Once again he has produced a stellar, elegant wine of succulent Chardonnay fruit with the ever-important energetic acidity.
