Kuleana Rum Works, created in 2013 on the big island produces estate agricole rum from Hawaiian heirloom sugacane. They operate a 45-acre farm on the far northern point of the Island of Hawaii. The cane is crushed in the field and immediately inoculated with proprietary yeast to begin fermentation and then transferred to the hand hammered copper alembic still for distillation. Distilled to 74%ABV and rested for 90 days before bottling, this agricole rum offers a drinking experience like no other. Truly a taste of Hawaii.
