Local legend Sashi Moorman has a résumé few can compete with. He was the winemaker for Stolpman, created his own winery, Piedrasassi, and is co-owner in both Domaine de la Côte, Evening Land, and Sandhi, with partner Raj Parr. The two of them have forgotten more about wine than most people know. Their entry-level Pinot Noir drinks better than most others’ top cuvées. The fruit is sourced from several prime vineyards throughout the area. The result is nothing short of sensational.
