This is a really delicious offering of dried peaches and pineapple with cream and light vanilla undertones. Medium to full body. Lovely praline undertone to it. Bright and fruity.
The 2018 Chardonnay Olema was fermented half in stainless steel, half in barrel and aged eight months sur lie in 30% new French oak, and 70% of the blend completed malolactic. It gives up pure, intense notes of ripe peaches, yellow apples and guava with hints of honey toast and butterscotch. Medium-bodied, the palate has a satiny texture with bags of peachy fruit and a light touch of oak, finishing spicy. (LPB)
