At 29 years of age this wine still has a powerful core, dark fruit, and notable tannin. My notes even described it as "brawny!" The most robust of the wines from Lakespring, this shows dark fruit, graphite, leather, and cedar. Almost Pauillac-like in its brooding intensity even as a mature wine. Fantastic stuff and in pristine condition.
