From the distributor: While Jean-Marc's white wines tend to get most of the spotlight, there are other delicious contributions that merit
attention. The Roulots have been making spirits since 1866 and Jean-Marc's father had a particular love for the process
of making fruit eau de vie.
“Distillers from father to son since 1866, we continue to be, to this day, owners of a family still with which we produce
Marc and Fine Bourgogne offered annually by domaine Roulot alongside our range of wines...” - Jean-Marc Roulot
“I wanted to develop this activity by extending the distillation to fruit brandies and return to a work that my father, Guy
Roulot, had experimented with long before me. His pear brandy was particularly well known and appreciated by a
small circle who nicknamed it “La Poire du Roulot.” These new spirits that we offer represent the continuation of a
family story.” - Jean-Marc Roulot
This is an apricot liquor, obtained from an infusion of fruit. Bergeron apricots come from the Rhone valley orchards of
Jean-Louis Chave. They are pittedd and immediately left to infuse in a neutral “surfin” spirit over the course of a few
months. From the resulting infusion we defined a liquor relatively high in alcohol (25%) and low in sugar (180g/l).
