The 2018 Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County) is gorgeous. A rush of sweet floral and red berry notes makes a strong opening statement. Rose petal, red berry, blood orange and mint are all laced together in a Pinot of exquisite harmony and total finesse. I would give it another year or two in bottle to fully come together. (AG)

Jeb Dunnuck tells of his affinity for the wines of Tyler: "These superb wines are made by Justin Willett (who worked previously with Joe Davis at Arcadian) from his home base in Lompoc. The wines lean heavily towards the lean, edgy side of the spectrum, yet have incredible poise, delineation and energy. These are exciting wines!" Reviews of the 2018 Pinot Noir are not yet in, but Erin Brooks in Wine Advocate gave the 2017 vintage of this wine 92 points and called it, "light to medium-bodied and earthy with a firm frame of grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long with spicy perfume."
