The Bardstown Bourbon Company is in no uncertain terms, killing it, and the second iteration of the Fusion series is no exception. An excellent blend of old and young whiskeys of varying mash bills. Corn, rye, wheat and malted barley are all incorporated making a well blended four grain bottle. The nose offers a rye bread note, pepper, light carmel and honey. The sip starts with a flash of heat, honey and vanilla then moves to carmel and rye spice. This bourbon has a wonderfully creamy mouthfeel and a lingering finish that lightly hugs the chest. I prefer this whiskey neat or with one large ice cube, depending on the weather.
