The brand was founded in 2005 by Sean Minor, at the same time as the Four Bears Winery, for which a number of the wines are named. Winery note: "100% Chardonnay from select Sonoma Coast vineyards.WINEMAKING 100% whole-cluster pressed. The juice is settled for 24 hours before being raked into small French Oak barrels, of which 20% are new barrels. Once primary fermentation is completed, natural malolactic fermentation progresses with 50% of the lots until a perfect balance of acidity is achieved. The wine is then aged in French Oak barrels for a total of 10 months before bottling."
