Maryetta's "Black Hoop" Pinot Noir is a blend of three prestigious vineyards in Anderson Valley: 50% Roma’s, 33% Helluva and 17% Valenti. Blended to be a little more fruit forward and bold than the single vineyard offerings, this is spectacular, easy-drinking Pinot Noir that WAY over delivers for the price point. It has beautiful purity of fruit with spiced red berries, raspberry coulis, sandal wood and bramble. Medium-plus bodied, some darker fruit tinges I suspect from the Valenti fruit. Nice mouth filling texture without being overly heavy. This typically sells for $25-$30. We have a winery direct price that is a one time deal too good to be missed.
