Just before it was bottled, I tasted a sample of the new 2019 Rosé produced with Garnacha from Campo de Borja. It's a very pale pink and has a perfumed nose with notes of flowers and white fruit. They harvested early and achieved a wine of 14% alcohol (a bit high for my liking), denoting a warm and dry year, but the wine feels in balance. It's quite bright, with delicate aromas of dried flowers, subtle and elegant. The palate is tasty, with pungent flavors and good depth. It was kept with fine lees for two months. (LG)
