Here is a crisp, bright, virtually unfiltered Manzanilla, the lighest on its feet of Lustau's newly released "3 en Rama" series of Sherries. Fortunately for all of us fans of "en rama," or miinimally filtered and minimally processed Sherries, Lustau bottles three excellent examples from their extensive holdings. These bottlings present a real opportunity to enjoy a young Fino or Manzanilla in a state that most faithfully approximates a barrel drawn solera sample (which, of course, is Sherry at its most romantic and its most delicious!) Also, given the three different bottlings, one can explore the differing flavors that result from where these wines are aged. Highly recommended to scratch that Sherry geek itch, or to catch the fever of the flavor of Spain's most underrated export.
