Winemaker's Notes: "Aromas of deep red rose with violet, wild strawberry and raspberry cane, met with dark malt and hints of dark chocolate, Sous bois notes of redwood forest, hints of cinnamon and toasted walnuts. On the palate - ripe strawberry, raspberry, juicy cranberry, redwood bark, pine needle mingle with a rich, powerful bramble freshness. Fine grained powdery tannins with nicely integrated oak make for elegant length with juicy, wooded forest floor, cedar cabin, candied blood orange rind on the finish. Each Pinot Noir clone was hand-harvested at night and arrived at the winery by daybreak. The fruit was hand sorted and fermented individually separated by clone. 6 days cold soak, gentle punch downs 1-3 times daily, 14-20 days on skins & gently basket pressed. Gravity fed to French oak barrels (52% new). Aged 16 months on lees, gently fined, bottled unfiltered." *Biodynamic*
