Tablas Creek put out two terrific rosés in the 2019 vintage. This one is the prettiest, a grenache-dominated pale pink drawn from non-estate sources. Fresh and mouthwatering, with peach and wild strawberry scents buoyed by a sea-spray lift, it has a lacy delicacy even while it’s grounded by a mourvedre foundation. (PJC)

Very light and tight aromas of lime, strawberry and crushed stone show on the nose of this blend of 76% Grenache, 19% Mourvèdre and 5% Counoise. There is a strong stony streak on the palate, where a brisk acidity delivers flavors of melon, nectarine and light berry. (MK)

The 2019 Patelin De Tablas Rose always reminds me of a rosé from Bandol with its citrus and orange zest notes, bright minerality, and clean, focused style. Perfect for a hot summer day, it's also going to be a great tapas wine and will be versatile on the dinner table.
