Neal Martin writes of the domaine for Wine Advocate: "The father and son team of Guy & Yvan Dufouleur are scions of the famous Dufouleur family that have been négoçiants since the 16th century in Nuits-Saint-Georges. However, in 2006 they established a separate domaine. I made an impromptu visit after tasting with Yvan’s daughter Marion in Bordeaux, where she is studying and working at the négoçiant Dourthe. It was there that she notified me of her family’s domaine “back home.” With an unexpected free hour I dropped by to taste through their 2016s, which Yvan informed me had been bottled a little earlier to keep the freshness."
