Winemaker's Notes: "The Coquelicot Vineyard is certified organically farmed just outside of Solvang in San Ynez Valley. This site was planted in the mid 1990s on gravely riverbed soils. The grapes were foot tread and soaked on skins for 24 hours before being whole bunch pressed. The juice is fermented in neutral french oak barrels with native yeast and aged on lees for 8 months before it's first racking to bottle, unfined and filtered. Think margarita tones - sea salt, lemon & lime, green pineapple wedge."
