  Luminous red with ruby highlights. Very clean rose and flinty notes add complexity to the pungent red and black fruit-accented nose. Clean fresh and lively in the mouth, with similar flavors to the aromas. This becomes much sweeter with aeration so make sure you decant a couple of hours ahead. From vineyards that are devoted only to making Rosso di Montalcino, so this is not a declassified Brunello as many other Rosso di Montalcinos are. (ID)

  Aromas reminiscent of fragrant purple flower, woodland berry, eucalyptus and new leather waft out of the glass. Juicy, savory and incredibly easy to drink, the smooth palate features succulent Marasca cherry, raspberry and licorice. Bright acidity and polished tannins keep it fresh and balanced. (KO)

  This has bright flavors of Bing cherries, strawberry and rhubarb that are crisp and fresh. The middle is fresh and weightless making it easy to enjoy now, and there is a wonderful minty note on the super clean finish.

  This Rosso was aged for one year in 20hl Slovenian oak barrels and unites the imposing structure of Brunello with the freshness and vivacity of a young wine; classic ripe strawberries, cherry-cola, and cranberry with a hint of leather and spice on the finish. This can be drunk young, but will evolve over the next couple of years. WARNING! This is one of those wines that will make you think: how did that bottle empty itself?
