Sourced from a wide array of Pünderich vineyards, only a minority of those in the Marienburg Einzellage, this 11.5% alcohol cuvée offers admirable buoyancy and abundant brightly juicy white peach and lime, as well as transparency on the persistent finish to intriguingly stony, mossy, nutty and ashen nuances. How much more could one ask of an entry-level generic bottling? (This represents the latter of two generic dry Busch Rieslings – the other, which I have not tasted, bearing A.P. #25 – each similarly sourced, but from slightly different lots.) (DS)

A well-crafted, dry version, with floral aromas and flavors, displaying elderflower, quince blossom and cantaloupe notes. Shows good concentration, yet retains elegance. The acidity imparts focus and balance as this extends on the finish. Drink now through 2028.
