Made with grapes from a parcel of the Los Lingues vineyard in the Colchagua Andes, this 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested on March 20 and aged for 14 months in new and used barrels. Even though comes from a warm year, it offers a ripe profile (14.6% alcohol) with just the right doses of barrel flavor; chocolate, vanilla, cassis and strawberry jam, over a bed of herbs. Initially rich, on the palate it is full-bodied with a taut texture and fine, well-polished tannins. Departs with a bold aftertaste in which all the ingredients feel well-integrated. (JH)
