  Aromatic and pretty with cherry, spice, walnut and light chocolate character on the nose. Medium to full body, round and chewy tannins and a flavorful finish. Impressive structure.

  Lovin this 2017 vintage, this is one of our best values from Tuscany, black cherries, spicy oak, and a touch of earth. In the mouth, the wine is full-bodied, with fine concentration and a dry finish, with well integrated and soft tannins. Enjoy tonight and over the next couple years.

  Over the last few vintages Nozzole has made big jumps in quality. Maybe it’s a bit of global warming or just the winery making adjustments to their vineyard and winemaking practices, but the quality is in the bottle. The flavors are classic Sangiovese, wild cherry, hints of plum and a bit of Tuscan brush accented by bits of spice. On the palate the wine has weight, a real textural feel that makes it easy to drink just by itself but without betraying its Chianti Classico roots. The finish is long, vibrant and shows good acidic structure a perfect accompaniment for rich pasta sauces. Did I mention the price point? This is an exceptional value for Chianti Classico Riserva, you should buy a case.
