Tasting Notes
Chinon Blanc makes up less than 5% of the production in this region most famous for its red wines. Baudry delivers and exceptional version, made with 100% Chenin Blanc planted over clay and limestone soils. Fermented in 500L barrels until dry, this is a rich chenin on a sinewy frame. Much like a dry Vouvray or Saumur Blanc, this has incredible intensity. It is beautiful to drink now but will age for several years as well.
