A markedly ripe nose combines notes of black cherry, cassis and dark raspberry with those of earth and a whiff of forest floor. There is reasonably good vibrancy to the sleekly textured flavors that conclude in a dusty, mildly austere and warm finish.

Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy: "Dense bright purple, with an inky fruit concentration, some charcoal style tannins behind. Dark raspberry fruit, with significant weight to it, lacks the obvious accessibility of some years but has staying power instead. Quite a powerful Bourgogne. Tasted: November 2019."
