3 Bicchieri in the Gambero Rosso. This stunning Cabernet based wine blended with Sangiovese is now one of Tuscany's most collectible properties. Outstanding wine, great depth and layers of complexity. Age this wine 8-15 years from the vintage to see its most complete flavors but so well balanced you could drink it starting in 2000. I had it at the winery with a pate of wild Pheasant, if that's hard to find try it with Roasted Rack of Lamb or a grilled T-bone steak with olive oil drizzled on top.
