Jordan was known as the ultimate "restaurant wine" (read: ready to drink upon release) but has stood the test of time as an age-worthy California Cabernet Sauvignon. This 1980 is one of the best that Jordan has produced. Very soft and herbal, the 1980 has a warm, round quality to it with fine balance. A ripe wine but not overly so. Drinking beautifully now with some years ahead of it at optimum drinkability. Highly recommended. From the winery: "Our 1980 vintage has remarkable, rich color for its age.
