This house is terribly underrated when top ports are mentioned. Their vintage ports tend to lack a bit of complexity and sheer majesty of aromas, but they do offer rich, robust, concentrated flavors of chocolate, spices, and deep, plummy fruit. (RP)

Wine Spectator

Medium garnet-ruby. A vintage port totally ready to go, with floral, berry and custard aromas and flavors. Medium-to-full body, with lots of sweetness, ripe fruit and a medium, yet flavorful finish. Alcohol shows a little now. (JS, Web Only-2008)
